Literacy Committee Donates $1,500.00 to LPES
LP Rotary Literacy Committee Co-Chairs Mary Liz Alexander and Randy Quayle delivered a check for $1500.00 to Laura Coffin, Reading Specialist, at LPES to buy books for the summer reading program.
Co-Chairs of the Literacy Committee, Mary Liz Alexander and Randy Quayle delivered a check for $1500.00 to Laura Coffin, the reading specialist at the Lake Placid Elementary School. The money will be used to buy books for the summer reading program. Those present for the presentation of the check included from left to right: Randy Quayle (Literacy Committee), Sarah Sheridan (student), Caleb Mihill (student), Brian Latella (LPES Principal), Tristian Spotts (student), Laura Coffin (Reading Specialist), and Mary Liz Alexander (Literacy Committee). The donated money was raised during a recent Trivia Night fundraiser.
