LP Rotary Supports Reason2Smile
LP Rotary representative, Steve Detwiler, presented a check for $1,000.00 to Keela Dates Grimmette and John DiGiacomo to support Reason2Smile
At a recent Rotary Club of Lake Placid breakfast meeting, we had a very interesting presentation provided by Executive Director of Reason2Smile, Keela Dates Grimmette and Board member, John DiGiacomo. Keela and John reported on their recent visit to the Jambo Jipya Academy and Children's Home in Kenya, Africa. The school has grown over the past few years, thanks to many generous donations, including support provided by our LP Rotary Club. Recently, the school graduated its first group of seniors. Past President of our Rotary Club, Steve Detwiler, presented a donation check for $1,000.00 to Keela and John at the end of the presentation.
