Welcome

Welcome to our Community Service page! The Rotary Club of Lake Placid serves our community by helping our neighbors in many ways. We are so proud of our community that greets visitors from all over the world.
We'll do plantings in support of Lake Placid Beautification and remove trash from a designated portion of a highway on our individual daily walks around town, including around Mirror Lake. We support community activities such as food & supply drives for the Ecumenical Food Bank, or participating in Lake Placid Community Day, and now we are running the long popular Teddy Bear Picnic. We clean glass slides at the historical society, and help renovate and paint the ambulance garage. We work on Shipman Youth Center’s garden and spruce up the various playgrounds. These are just a few of our projects.
We welcome all to join us in supporting our community efforts. Feel free to click into a project from the list of links at left and learn more! Please let us know what you're interested in! You'll be among friends, meet new people and get a good feeling knowing you helped your neighbors in a very valuable way. We look forward to seeing and hearing from you.
