Closing out our 2021 - 2022 speaker series was Aaron Kramer, CEO of Adirondack Health (AH). Simply put, providing excellent and caring health care services in a rural area such as the Adirondacks is challenging on several levels. From overall health of the population AH serves, to recruitment of providers, to financial pressures, and to being flexible to respond to emergencies or planning for the upcoming World University Games, the job of a hospital CEO can be a daunting task. Since becoming CEO in September 2021, Aaron has already made his mark on several levels. Aaron joined us to highlight some of the many services AH offers, a look into the future for AH and what the community can do to support AH, one of only two hospitals in NY to receive a 5-star patient experience rating (Becker's Hospital Review, March 2022) and is a Joint Replacement Center of Excellence (Healthcare Facilities Accredtation Program (HFAP - on site survery, March 2022).
