We asked Carolyn Walton, Founder and Executive Director of https://www.thewoodsprogram.com/ to come back to our meeting to give us more insight into the workings of her program, the local schools involved with this project and her observations of the positive behavioral changes of the student participants. To untether today's youth from their electronic devices in order to experience the wonders of nature and to begin to experience various character and confidence building exercises is challenging, especially when there is to cell phone service and other modern conveniences.
