Just about every meeting of our Club presents details about community activities that we support and services that make Lake Placid a special place to be.
More funds from Trivia Night were presented by the Literacy Committee.  Here St. Agnes' Catherine Bemis (assisted by Rory) accept a check from Randy and Mary Liz for subscriptions to Cricket Magazine.  Cricket is a publication that introduces children to fiction and classic literature as well as non-fiction stories.
Next, Lynda Garrand, General Manager at the Adirondack Health Medical Fitness Center provided an overview of the services and activities offered to the community to encourage individuals to get on and stay on the path to physical fitness and overall health.  Several Club members were reported to have gone directly to the Fitness Center right after today's meeting and were seen doing various activities, some under the guidance of Fitness Coaches.  Lynda accepts the coveted Rotary Club of Lake Placid multi-lingual/multi-color writing instrument from Sgt-At-Arms Joe McAvoy.
