There's no doubt our aging population faces a crisis on many levels, including loneliness and the ability to successfully age well in their community without becoming residents of a nursing facility. Aging with friendship and compassion has been the mission since Mercy Care was founded in 2007. As we heard in today's presentation from member Katherine Rhodes, Elder Care Manager, it is important to keep people connected to their community to minimize risks of premature death by providing services to help with life's social needs via outings, transportation and technology assistance, conversation and company as well as spiritual support.
