Susan Delehanty, Board Chair of Tupper Arts, told us about Tupper Arts, a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering the arts in Tupper Lake, New York. She shared details the organization's history, starting with its roots in the former Tupper Lake Arts Council, and discussed Tupper Arts' mission to nurture artists and provide a community venue for exhibitions, classes, and performances. A key point of excitement is the recent acquisition and renovation of the historic Adirondack State Theater, which Tupper Arts is transforming into a performing arts center and movie theater to expand its offerings. Susan's presentation also highlights various current programs, such as the annual art show, dance classes, and summer performance series, emphasizing that most events are offered free of charge to ensure accessibility for the entire community. For more information, please visit http://tupperarts.org . Several of our club's members have worked with Susan on other boards in the Tri-Lakes areas. We're quite interested in seeing Tupper Lake evolve as a cultural and tourist destination in the Tri-Lakes area. From L to R shown are Chandler Ralph, Susan Delehanty, Stephanie Pianka and Ernie Stretton.
